I just explained it. Its not your typical case of calling out a random fighter. Hes been calling out Khan for YEARS. They've been going back and forth since they were both on the rise. Brook isnt bigger than Khan, Khan is more known in the states, this is a grudge match plain and simple and whoever doesnt want to see it or defend Khans ducking is simply not a fan of the sport and just a cheerleader to be frank

My thoughts exactly. I kind of agree with Khan a little bit not necessarily by what he says but just by the logic of how things should be. Brook is the champ, in my eyes he acts a little too desperate to fight Khan. That does nothing but hurt even at the negotiating table.
We say Khan needs to do more at welterweight, guess what Brook needs to do more as well. The fight will be bigger down the line if they both fight quality opponents and keep winning. You beat Shawn Porter, that's just one good fighter on your resume. It almost makes it sound like Brook is trying to cash out his championship before he loses it to a quality fighter. I mean fight a Thurman, a Bradley, a Rios and I guarantee if he comes through those fights, he 'll be the one making the A side call in the Khan fight.Comment

On the Boxingvoice podcast
Ness was sayings Brook is begging for the fight, and Khan has no obligation to give it to him because Khan has gone through the gauntlet and Brook hasnt paid his dues
and i agree, Khan has been put it all on the line time and time again, took all the risks and Brook wants to come in and piggyback off Khan
Brook gets one good win and wants Khan to give him the payday.
Ur gotta earn ur keep, Khan doesnt owe Brook or the fans anything.
Brook will have to go it the hard route, eventually Khan will give him that fight, but when he feels Brook has earned it
I dont care what Toys R US belt Brook has, one win dont cut the mustard.Last edited by FrankieBruno; 04-01-2015, 12:34 PM.Comment

Kell Brook wants to box as soon as possible after his brutal four-round demolition of Jo Jo Dan in his first defence of his IBF World Welterweight title in Sheffield on Saturday.
Brook dismantled his mandatory challenger with a stunning display of his trademark power and accuracy, flooring the Romanian-Canadian twice in both the second and fourth rounds before the challenger retired on his stool ahead of the fifth.
‘The Special One’ is enjoying a very short break with his family before getting straight back into the gym and the 28 year old has told promoter Eddie Hearn he wants to fight twice more before the end of the summer.

Since when do contenders duck World Champions?
Since when do prize fighters turn down their biggest potential payday ever (by about 3-fold)?
I'll tell you when, it's simple - despite the chance for a legit World Title at the weight and a huge bargaining chip against the May-Pac winner AND an £5m+ payday (Pounds) - not to mention huge bragging rights - all of those rewards are not worth the risk to Khan of losing to Brook. Because he will lose everything if he does. Simple.
Does he lose? Honestly - it's 50/50 - but my respect is dropping for Khan because this is the very definition of ducking - the fear of losing.Comment

look, Kell is chasing the Khan fight because its the most money the pair of them can make right now, as in a month or two, when Khan fights Algieri wtf does that do for his resume exactly, he's exactly like a Senchenko who all yanks seem to slate Brook for, i dont get what exactly people dont get about Brook wanting the fight, Khan is not bigger over here in the UK, he's most known for getting Sparked out cold in a single round on terrestrial TV with way over 10 million people watching, simple as thatComment
