Actually Hopkins still has great legs, in the kovalev fight, he just couldn't pull the trigger. If he let his hands go more he would have knocked kovalev down or hurt him more. Hopkins skill is his deception and setting traps, he has ugly punch technique he relies on craftiness and sneak tactics, he loved coming in swing windmills with his head down low to head butt you. I think Hopkins lost the kovalev fight on purpose he was eating punches and smiling it was not a normal display he was boasting about his chin. Almost sadistically enjoying getting hit to say I can take his punch like candy. Just a strange fight. Kova was smart though he refused to get close and fall for b hop possum act trap

More than pulling the trigger, Popkins has always stuggled with fighters more athletically gifted than himself. Roy, Taylor and Dawson are examples of that. For a man of his size and physique, Kovalev is very sharp and athletically gifted. A young Bernard would have struggled mightily, let alone a 50 year old version.

To the masses, Floyd DOES NOT always telegraph his right hand. Re-watch any of his fights. Mosley, Ortiz and Hatton for prime examples of this. The position he gets himself in when he's "telegraphing" the right could also be a check hook or pull counter.

People seriously underestimate PAC's ring craft and skills.

I have seen Pacquiao counter the jab from master jabbers such as Barrera, Morales, Marquez, De La Hoya and Cotto. Im not so sure how effective that jab will be.
