fighters should be forced to fight atleast 3 times, a lot of respect for golovkin who will do 4 this year
2 fights a year is a joke

GGG will eventually be fighting twice a year too if he is who they say he is (I believe he is) and by then I'm sure you'll change your stance on the subject.. Bigger names = bigger purses = bigger events = bigger risk = harder to find profitable opponents.
Just business.Comment

Believe it or not training camps put a lot of strain on your body and the older you get the harder it is to stay in optimum physical condition and as a result you manage your body better and fight less often.Comment

Kovalev can not be in 3-4 Pascal fights a year, they take a lot out of you. Just like Pascal can't fight a Kovalev type fight 3-4 times a year. Guarantee Kovalev fights one more time this year and call it a year. And I would be surprised if Pascal fights again this year, he would probably fight a soft touch to take it easy on his brain/health.
Like I said before: Tougher fights=longer training camps+longer recovery period after a fight.
Another thing is, you may not have a family yet so you can't relate, but these guys want to spend time with their families you know? 2 fights a year is 4 months away from your family(8 week training camps), another 1-2 fights is another 2-4 months away. 4 fights is four 8 week training camps. On top of that, commissions require a fighter who just been stopped to wait a mandatory amount of months where they can't have another fight. Lastly, GGG is fighting 3-4 times a year because of the level of opposition he's fighting, also GGG doesn't even have any kids, so he has no worries about raising children yet. You think a man with kids has no responsibilities? He should just fight the amount of times you want him to for your entertainment, his family be damned? How about you become a pro and go fight 4 times, implement your bull**** obligation on yourself.Comment

The guys are fighters. They fight. They don't kick soccer balls, or throw footballs, or shoot basketballs, or slap hockey pucks, or hit baseballs. They don't serve tennis balls, or putt golf balls, or drive race cars, or swim laps. They beat the shit out of each other. Take what they give you faggot.Comment

You cant force em it's all about economics and the fights that fighters can actually get . Remember every time a fighter steps in a ring his life is quite literally on the line, so I can't blame a fighter who doesn't want to put himself at risk more times than he needs to in order to get to the top or to stay there.Comment

Lol what a ****** rant against fighting more often - GGG has a son. He spent nearly the entire year away from his family when he fist started training with Abel. That's dedication, something foreign to most people.Comment
