Mayweather started sparring early, probably has more than 200 rounds recorded at 5 minutes a round, with ten different spar mates. That's obsessive, I don't know how he can spar that much and not overtrain, unless he uses something, at his age he defies logic, even b Hopkins doesn't spar that much at his age.

Actually it sort of makes sense. Pac needs to make Floyd Miss, but really besides that just do a better job than Maidana, which he definently could. Pac is very fast, if Floyd takes breaks he loses every round in which he decides to do so.

Didn't Pacquiao have like 10 + sparring partners a week back. So that mean he's only sparring 10 rounds a guy.

What I think Roach means is, not so much refining technique, more so, defining gameplan/strategy.

Freddie will not be teaching an old dog new tricks, just working on tactics, and ensuring that Pac is reading from the same page he is.

Hopkins gave a real good breakdown on changing your approach to training as you age.
