Mora has massive name recognition.

If you asked the casual fan to name 2 middleweights they'd say Cotto and Mora. Mora is a much bigger name than Alvarez.

Mora might have some name recognition but in his case that's not a good thing.

People will probably recgonize that he **** the bed in the Mosley fights and was on the show The Contender, which doesnt exactly have HOF alum.

There's no problem with being new to the sport. He said he started following boxing this time last year. Nothing wrong with that everyone starts somewhere.

Cotto chose to be inactive. I can understand a tune-up if he was sidelined for whatever reason.

Now not only does he not have an opponent for June 2nd, he's still yet to secure a network. HBO wont air it unless he can guarantee them a showdown with Canelo next. Espinoza tweeted that Showtime wouldn't buy Cotto/Bundrage. If there weren't willing to buy that I don't see them excited to buy him vs Mora or Heiland
