The article was stating that both HBO & Showtime would like cotto's fights. Of course HBO would want the canelo fight cuz of $$$. Showtime's tweet said they aren't interested in K9. So... arum went and possibly made bradley-K9... so why do you keep on bringing up K9 for? They'll approve heiland for GGG but won't approve him for cotto? Both HBO and Showtime would like Cotto's fights? The article says nothing of the sort. It DOES say that VARIOUS SOURCES make that claim, there is nothing at all in the way of a statement from either HBO or Showtime. I'll wait for official statements from the networks and from Cotto or Roc Nation before jumping to any conclusions regarding who Cotto's next opponent will be or what network the fight will appear on.

What Cotto is going thru right now is the effects of not having an exclusive contract with a network and not having a promoter that has pull.

Its a risk for HBO or Showtime to invest in Cotto vs a subpar opponent without the guarantee of a bigger fight down the line.
