Yeah I believe he lost a technical decision. I don't really recall how that fight went down though other than Jhonny being put on his ass.

Given the complete shutout, public spanking session he gave Russell when they fought, I can see why people would give Lomachenko a bit more of a pass when it comes to the undeserved title shots.

He is really no killer, anymore that is. People put in so much for his 1 punch on Mares that they forgot that he's been looking like crap before and hasnt fought anybody good after for a reason. Tho this isnt really a cherry pick

Gets gifted another title shot that he most likely wins as Gonzo is a seriously flawed fighter. What's not to love? Dude is all flash and ZERO substance. I can see how that appeals to some people though. Just pretend like he didn't just get thoroughly schooled.
All that means is his team is placing him in positive positions. I am not a huge fan of his style but he has a good team of people. Just like Loma does. You know since he got a title shot in under 5 fights and all. My point is don't blame the fighter for his fortunate position. If you feel that one of your favs has been passed over, then your guy should seek new management. This is boxing. There are no clear rules to ascending to the top. It is all about who you are with. It's ALWAYS been that way. I don't think it's right but that is the reality we live in.
I am always for the boxers, too many leave this sport damaged without a dime to show for it. So anybody who is getting fighters paid is cool with me.

Not really saying he's a pound for pound monster. Either way you look at it Russell has finally stepped up his opposition and he should get credit for it. 2 of his last 3 fights are Loma and Jhonny and that's solid

So you aren't a huge fan of his style, but you're a fan because he has Haymon management? What does this even mean?

We must never forget .I just hope Russell doesn't win cause I see Mares using that as an excuse to bypass Gonzalez.
