Not even Pac picks his fights. If you hate his promoter or matchmaker that's fine, but Russell is just doing his job. Guys on this site think PROFESSIONAL boxing works like calling a kid out in high school.
He fights TBA then gets gifted a title shot he hasn't earned. Strike one. Gets humiliated vs Lomachenko, almost earns a draw. Strike two. Talks absolute dumb shit like the 99/100 quote. Gets gifted another title shot that he most likely wins as Gonzo is a seriously flawed fighter. What's not to love? Dude is all flash and ZERO substance. I can see how that appeals to some people though. Just pretend like he didn't just get thoroughly schooled.

Speaking of the Lomachenko-Russell fight, Loma got a title shot coming off... a loss... in a title fight.
Bingo! and it was not only coming off loss but in his 3rd fight as a pro

Oh my, I forgot all about this outrageously ****** quote from GRJ. If he was sure that he'd beat Loma, he'd be screaming for a rematch.

"I don't seem interested in a rematch" Guess what Gary: No one else is interested in a rematch either because you got your ass kicked thoroughly and the same thing would happen 100 times out of 100.

That said, I admire his toughness. He took one hell of a beating and finished the fight. But you don't want too many 12 round beatings, those are what do the most damage.

To be fair, Loma got a title shot his second fight. He certainly didn't earn it.

Do you not know the meaning of cherry pick? What makes Jhonny the number 1? I can see you're already setting up to call Chump Russell Jr the champ already. That's a sick joke.

I'm not defending that. Two wrongs don't make a right.

This is the opposite of a cherrypick

Russell is being given another tough fight just 2 fights after facing loma

                  You're talking nonsense

I think Russel will pull this off. Close but clear win, 116 - 112 would be my guess.

Clearly nonsense you speak. You haven't figured out what cherry pick means yet.
