It's amazing the lack of respect for Vitali and his steel jaw. He didn't crumble to some of the best heavys of the past 20 years in taking real power hitters like Lewis, Peters, arreola, danny Williams the list is pretty long of guys that couldn't dent his chin. The best anyone has ever done is hit Vitali hard enough to back him up that's it...no wobble, no chicken dance....just backed him up. He's never even been near being knocked down while Holy was murdered by Bowe and floored by Toney. Let's be clear Holy is a top ATG hw but Vitali is in a class with the Louis and Ali's.

Vitali was never dropped after a full career of some of the best, heftiest and power punching opponents in boxing history.

To claim he doesn't have a chin of the absolute highest grade iron is nothing less than ridiculous!

The only chins that are harder than Vitali's are the bum-chins, like Ross Puritty and Marion Wilson for example.

Wlad's chin is a good chin. The absolute heftiest opponents on record, the best resume of any HW in history and the most 200+ opponents with the fewest amount of losses and KD sequences of all time. You cannot wade through all that with a weak chin.

Holyfield was a featherfist. No featherfist has ever wasted Wladimir let alone Vitali and no boxer as diminutive as Holyfield has ever caused either of them even the slightest bit of trouble.

        ^^^
Vitali's chin is good but let's not get carried away. He didn't fight much good opposition during his career. His chin did hold up when he was hit by a couple guys with power but he wasn't fighting a murder's row of punchers were his chin was being constantly battle tested.

You only know if a chin is good or not is when it gets tested
Wlad's has proven his chin is complete glass when it was tested vs punchers

Hasim Rahman took everything Sanders could throw for 3-4 rounds and then came back to KO him. Wlad's chin shattered on contact from Sanders fists.

The guy has only gone on so long because he fights stiffs and the few dangerous guys he refuses to engage with and jumps all over their backs when they get close to him.

Holyfield had a below average KO ratio... Hence featherfist.

Holyfield was good all around, but one thing he wasn't was a bloody power puncher!

Holyfield had a very solid, iron chin, but it was cracked enough.

Bowe hit no harder than Vitali and wasted him.

Toney didn't hit anywhere near as hard as Vitali and wasted him.

Nobody in 12 years of professional boxing had ever wasted the 260lb fast counterpuncher Kirk Johnson. Enter Vitali Klitschko... Job done in 2 rounds!

So much for your opinion mate!

I don't care what your stat sheet reads, Holyfield was not featherfisted.
He was the only one to drop Bowe, first to drop Mercer, he KO'd Mike Tyson, dropped Michael Moorer about 8 times in their rematch, and he badly staggered Lewis with a left hook among other notables. The guy could definitely hit and obviously has the power to KO Wlad.

You just proved my point exactly.

                "Wasted him". Jesus you're deluded.

                Never watched the fights.

In fairness Bowe-Holy 3 was an absolute beatdown. I feared for Holy's life after that fight because he was never the same. He beat the shell of Tyson, handled moorer, was slapped around by Lennox and split some fights with John "I'm the worst ****ing hw champ in history" Ruiz.

                  Bowe took his soul.

                    No it wasn't at all.

Holyfield dropped and hurt Bowe just before the stoppage.

I remember Bowe touching the canvas in Holy's last stand and then getting splattered on the ropes taking sledgehammers.

Maybe you need to rewatch the fight a few more times to see what really happened.
