good call on foreman. I don't think holy ever got enough credit for that fight. in actuality he took some heat back in the day for not stopping big George and holding on at the end. nobody realized just how formidable big George still was at that time even at 42 yrs old. holyfield was throwing sizzling combos in that fight with great movement

Evander would KO Vlad like a boss. Vitali would be more of a shootout but I still like Holyfield for the win as he had a legendary chin having faced big punchers in Tyson, Lewis, Foreman, Bowe. All other current heavies get owned by Holy who takes on all comers and retires after a long celebrated reign.

Vitali had a better chin than Holy tho that's a proven fact.

No way does Toney or Bowe ever drop Vitali.

            He does pretty good.

Could hold his own against all of them.

But he would suffer multiple losses just as he did in his own era which was about equivalent to this one.

I would say he does about as good as Haye, Adamek and Ibragimov really because that was roughly his level and constraints.

              Multiple losses.....

Very harsh on Holy who is a top 10 atg heavy. Can't see anyone outside of Wlad beating him.

Holyfield is a guy that doesn't get as much respect as he deserves. From 1984-2001 he had a victory or a draw over every fighter he had faced which included the like of: Qawi 2x, Bowe 3x Tyson 2x, Lewis 2x, Moorer 2x Foreman, Holmes etc. Wins over 16 world champions and had 11 fights vs hall of famers.

Imagine Prime Holyfield vs 39 yr old Wlad, Wilder, Fury, Povetkin, Joshua, Stiverne, Jennings, Pulev, Glazkov, Cunningham etc..

He would have beaten all those guys very easily and would have become undisputed.

Haye,Adamek and Iggy with all due respect wouldn't be fit to carry Holyfield's spit bucket.

I'm guessing you guys didn't use the Elroy logic here. Holyfield is too small and bald to hang with proven all time greats like Pianeta, Leapi. They would probably just use him for sparring and nothing more. By the way I was present when Elroy was putting work on the heavy bag. True he looked like a ******, but no lie every time he connected a punch on the bag he produced a sonic like Boom sound. Scary stuff
