    Bowe took his soul.

Holyfield had Hepatitis is the 3rd Bowe fight. He had absolutely no energy and could only fight for 30 seconds per round. Still he dropped Bowe in the 6th and would have finished him off if he just had some energy left but he was too exhausted.

The wars clearly effected Bowe worse as he was completely shot and had to retire the next year at only 28 yrs old.

Holyfield on the other and went on to KO a still very good Mike Tyson and claimed an additional 3 versions of the HW title.

Bowe clearly got the worst end of it.

Maybe you need to rewatch the fight a few more times to see what really happened.
I do remember the fight just fine thanks.

It was give and take. Holyfield was suffering a bit, but put up a good fight. Until the mid rounds before he was completely exhaused, it was a good fight.

He managed to pull up a major left hook straight on Bowe's chin and couldn't follow up on it and instead got stopped himself.

That hepatitis crap is just a cover story. Bowe was shot by his own doing he stopped training because he felt like he had nothing to prove basically doing the same as Tyson before the Buster loss. Bowe still had the ability to be world class he just didn't care anymore once he dominated Evander because he felt like he was the best heavy and in truth at that time he was. Holy took care of himself better and that's why he career lasted longer.

Evander would knock Haye out on the way to the ring to beat the hell out of either Klitz brother!
His work rate alone would leave them bewildered, he isn't like their "tradiontional" opponents who just stand in front of them and try to reach out to them. A prime Evander used a double and triple jab and would move off Wlads shoulder then step in with combinations. Wlad would fold likre a bad book and that glass glittered chin would be spread all over the canvas.

There is NOTHING Wlad does better than Evander did, except be tall!!!!

I'm talking about a PRIME Evander not the guy picking up the pennies who fought the "circus" strongmen that Wlad made a career fighting.
This is THE worst era for heavies, the talent wasn't any better in the 50's but atleast those men came to win, the guys today want to survive so their happy that the clinching and holding goes on and on........A young in prime Evander has a clear view at the top and after about 3 years
would be bored out of his mind.
Imagine the sound that these oversized slow motion heavies would make as they topple to the canvas floor......... by Holyfield.

I see an arguement for Holy beating Wlad but there's just no way he gets past Vitali.

Vitali is too tall, too strong, too long, too good of a chin, huge puncher and an excellent jab. Holy wouldn't go down easy but he has a disadvantage on Vitali everywhere except speed.

Holyfield had a below average KO ratio... Hence featherfist.

Holyfield was good all around, but one thing he wasn't was a bloody power puncher!

Holyfield had a very solid, iron chin, but it was cracked enough.

Bowe hit no harder than Vitali and wasted him.

Toney didn't hit anywhere near as hard as Vitali and wasted him.

Nobody in 12 years of professional boxing had ever wasted the 260lb fast counterpuncher Kirk Johnson. Enter Vitali Klitschko... Job done in 2 rounds!

So much for your opinion mate!
ofcourse he have average k.o ratio he's not fighting bums, vitali only got one elite in his resume and he lost.

and boasting about toney wasting 41 year old holyfield

Holyfield and the kiltsbro only separated by a decade, we can still make connection between their's opponent

wow,,,,holyfield was never a big puncher but he was certainly not feather fisted. he had descent power and it increased some as he put on more weight as he got older. why are you bringing up the toney fight? holyfield was a shell of himself by then. the only guy to stop holy in his almost prime was bowe and holy was past his best by that fight as well imo. he couldn't fight at a high pace anymore and only fought bowe in spurts in there 3rd fight. I don't think holyfield had enough pop to kayo vitali but he certainly had enough to stop wlad or make vitali cut

also in all fairness Holyfield was sick at bowe 3, i never seen a fighter had a pale face and blue lip inbetween rounds. he doesn't have the gas to finnish bowe after the K.D and it was only round 4. can't you believe it? the warrior who fight 15 rounds war gassed out in just 4 rounds.

after moorer doctor diagnosis holyfield with heart problem and after bowe the result came positive that holy have hepatitis.

between the health problems and his constant war i believe Holyfield is more past prime than tyson when they fight. tyson just doesn't have great fighter mentality.

Toney hurt him to body. Dude plus Holyfield was gassed.

well,,,,rahman didn't walk into that straight left as wlad did. wlad also caught sanders head as well. I don't think rahmans chin was any or much better than wlads and his defense certainly wasn't as good. wlad was purely an offensive fighter when he fought sanders before steward got him to fight tall
