I seriously don't think the vast majority of posters here even know what a bum in boxing actually is.

Is Canelo overrated? Maybe. Probably even. But a bum? Are you f**king kidding me? A bum is Brian Sutherland (sorry B-Suth I'm still your biggest fan doe). A bum is Reggie Strickland, who lost 276 professional fights. A bum is Eric Crumble, who finished his career 0-31. Those are bums.

Canelo Alvarez is 44-1-1 with 31 KOs. He's a world class fighter at it's absolute highest level. Referring to him as a bum is insanity.

he's not a bum jus really overated, by hardcore and casual fans.

his look and mexican heritage is blessing, many of his fight is not even remotely exciting. none of his fight make me awe or jump in excitement.

i can understand when fans love Pac, morales, barerra, or even gatti, they create fireball or explode in the ring. Ginger boy attribute so far is just so average.
