Ward should move up to 175. I know he is only 175-178lbs on fight night, and would have to uncomfortably beef up to actually fight those 185-190lb guys up there. But it seems like there's nothing new at 168 unless he plans on fighting Anthony Dirrell or James DeGale. Golovkin isn't moving up either. Kovalev and Stevenson are good fights at 175, Braehmer is another decent fight against a top 10 contender and title holder.

HBO accepted Kessler for Ward. Problem was that Ward (surprisingly) didn't want to travel.

Rafael also suggested that HBO would only take Cotto-Bundy if it was part of a larger agreement that included Cotto-Canelo in the fall.

        I like it from HBO.

Ward just needs to take short money and maybe no TV for tune up.

Not sure if possible though with Roc-nation now involved and that big contract

Why not just go to showtime for his tune up since hbo is being so strict. Showtime doesn't have jack lined up

I think so and if so probably really the main reason HBO turned it down maybe to try and force the Ward Froch fight cause HBO will defiantly be all over that.

They did that when Cotto faced Rodriguez with the condition he fought Martinez next. My guess is Cotto takes it.
