Arum said they wanted the 5 million dollar fine included and Ellerbe turned it down because he wanted to be able to sue for more. Which is completely different topic from kontz wanting to add it along with the usada contract which he explained on ESPN and which is completely separate from the fighter contract. The contract was signed without that stipulation so team Manny wanted to include it in the usada contract so it would have just been an additional penalty along with what they could get for breaching the fighter contract. Ellerbe is a snake and these Floyd ball handlers are eating it up and trying to spin the facts.

Because the guilty party would use the USADA contract as proof that no further penalty could apply. Thats giving your enemy a legal olive branch.

The 5 mill is completely useless because as Arum already stated, if Floyd is guilty Arum will come after him for alot more then just 5 mill. And vice versa.

I love how Floyd fans suddenly take Arum at his word when it fits their agenda. Arum knows damn well that is not the case. That an agreement on a drug testing would not preclude damages lost if the fight was cancelled. He was playing nice to get the fight done. He himself has had fights cancelled and has had to pay more and less then what was in the written contract.

You just completely ignored every point I made. Why don't you actually go read the ESPN article about it. Kontz clearly said that it would have been included with the contract with usada which has no bearing whatsoever on the fighters contract. You guys really just love to ignore reality sometimes.

Im not making fun of you but you clearly didn't understand what you just read.

If a fighter were to be caught using peds the result is the fight gets cancelled and the dirty fighter gets banned. Thats the rules as they are.

What Koncz wants is for there to only be a 5 million dollar penalty for a fighter if they should test dirty, no ban, no canceled fight just a 5 million penalty.

Floyd and his team don't want that, they want the full penalty, of getting banned, cancelling the fight, and probably suing them to high heaven and back.

It already says in the contract if either fighter test positive they are banned for 4yrs. Either one. That"s a harsh enough penalty right there. Team pac is trying to be slick, why do you need a 5 million dollar fine for thats nothing, the 4 yr ban thats in the contract is already more than enough penalty. They are getting tested, nobody is cheating this is the biggest fight in the history of the sport, it will be all over every media outlet if anyone of them test positive and the fight is stopped especially Mayweather. Konz and them are trying to get around the 4 yr ban.
