Why shouldn't he be? He beats who you put in front of him, the division itself is still at it's weakest ever historically, and he has the skill set and is highly marketable.

Statements like "Ustinov would stop him" are laughable, and show the hate he gets, and he wouldn't be getting hate like GGG/Kovalev/Thurman if he wasn't the real deal.

I agree. His best wins are a domestic level fighter and a career CW. NOT that Fury cannot/couldn't have become/became a "top fighter," but what I find laughable is how his die hard fans SWEAR Wlad would "duck" this clumsy-stiff for some reason.... Wtf. Wlad takes care of ALL mandatory opponents, yet on the flip side.... Fury is the one who arguably ducked Ustinov, and it's been a while so I may be mistaken but isn't Fury the one who turned down a fight with Pulev, that would of gotten him a title shot, had he won?

People saying Wlad better not duck a guy who's best wins are the one's I said- and who's hardly accomplished anything in the sport.... are delusional. If ANYTHING, I can see Fury turning down a fight with Wlad and backing out of his mandatory status.

He's had cab drivers put in front of him. GGG/Kovalev/Thurman all expressed desire to fight the BEST... When has Fury gone up to his promoter and said "let me get a top 5 fighter so I can prove myself, voluntarily?"

Fury is a product of generous sanctioning body rankings and careful career management by his promoter and management team. Just wait til Wlad KO's this dude and makes him look silly.... I cannot wait! Not cause i hate Fury- but his fans act like this guy is some supremely skilled wizard just waiting to explode (like Joshua, for example)

Question: Didn't Fury back out of a fight with Pulev that would of made him mandatory for Wlad (the guy he swears is gonna duck him) sooner, had he won? Is that considered "beating who's put in front of me?"

See now had Fury gone through with a fight against a top HW like Pulev, how he could of... and not backed out. People would probably respect him more.

Instead, he's simply a product of careful management/promotion and sanctioning body rankings.

(if this wasn't Fury who pulled out against Pulev, disregard this. But I'm pretty sure it was)

Teper destroyed Spott and Rogan in a round.

                He probably ain't bad.

If I was Fury I would take Price out.

Did any of you guys actually read this article before you posted comments about it?

It DOESN'T say that Fury is fighting Teper, just that Teper has been made mandatory challenger for the EBU title, which Fury won when he beat Chisora.

FFS, use your brains, if you have any.

fury pulled out against ustinov(a complete bum who was ko'd by pulev) if you have ever seen him fight you would laugh your ass off. he's like 6'8 but has no jab, no power, no chin(pillow punching pulev ko'd him lol) and fights with his arms at his side. no one considered him a top heavyweight.
