Most still forget that he beat Marquez after an almost two year layoff.
He's proven he can still win against top contenders and younger title holders after taking breaks of a year or more.

listen TBE stans. your idol is no tyson. fans celebrate when mike fights during his prime. they neither root for or against him. he's that huge. your idol is not that type. no defensive, boring boxer ever made it big. it's a conglomeration of factors that made him big. it started with dela hoya, then ducking the rematch, the fake retirements, the once a year fights, long vacations, it made him even bigger when people started associating him with the true star named pacquiao.
stop fooling yourselves. people are not that dumb.

im pretty sure nacho's wrong about this. most of the people paying 7-10k+ for a ticket arent watching it because of pacquiao or mayweather. it's just a big event and they want to be seen at it, most of them probably dont even watch boxing.

People keep forking out money to hopefully see him get his ass kicked. At least, for the most part. He does also have a small group of fans that get off watching him use his advantages in every fight, such as superior speed, and reflexes. He hasn't fought a fighter yet who can match him in those two departments. I'm not sure anyone can either. Which is why he breezes through fights.Last edited by SeekDaGreat; 03-18-2015, 02:38 PM.

However on top of Floyd being fast and and having superior speed, he also does everything as very well. So eventually the better well rounded boxer prevailed in Judah-Mayweather.
I always wondered how much better Judah could have been if we would just let his hands go... He waits, way too long.

What is the point of mentioning why a person buys a Floyd ppv?
Person A: likes Floyd as a fighter and wants to see him win so they pay $80 for the ppv.
Person B: doesn't like Floyd at all wants to see him lose so they pay $80 for the ppv.
Whether a person pays to see any fighter win or lose its the same got damn price so it makes no difference. Dumb to even brag about how more people pay to see Floyd lose when they are paying the same price as the people who want to see him win.
What do people get out of mentioning how many supposed people pay to see Floyd lose?
What actual bearing do it have on anything?
