Since golovkin ducked Hopkins , shouldnt bhop automatically be ahead of ggg in the p4p list
The Gennady Golovkin Myth

who the hell is to say Haymon would want any of his fighters on HBO? He's clearly featuring all of his guys on his PBC boxing, Quillin obviously has been lined up to fight Andy Lee and is headlining a PBC card. These guys clearly have other plans.HBO caved pretty quickly after the Haymon ban when one of their main attractions (Ward) was out of viable options. You think they'll say no to Quillen for Golovkin and Stevenson for Kovalev?
The fact that they made an exception for Dibella means they'll make exceptions for the benefit of people they work with. And they'll make an exception for K2 to fight a Haymon fighter if he pushes it.Comment

With Rodriguez they had people they work with on both sides. So do you know who Lara's promoter is?HBO caved pretty quickly after the Haymon ban when one of their main attractions (Ward) was out of viable options. You think they'll say no to Quillen for Golovkin and Stevenson for Kovalev?

And clearly the relations have gotten worse since. At the time GBP was HBO's main antagonist, and since they've been welcomed back on HBO, totally ransacked by Haymon who has started his own league. I repeat, if they do make peace anytime soon, it won't be over a 154 who makes for bad TV, choked in his big opportunity, and would be given no chance vs GGG.Comment

A bum just like his team wanted.
Yep and the other two were Heiland and Tuerano Johnson. Funnily enough both of those guys are actually better lol. "We wanted a slick southpaw with a Cuban style doe"
Well we don't know because K2 never made that phone call.Comment

Of course they won't because Lara is actually good. With Rodriguez they had people they work with on both sides. So do you know who Lara's promoter is?

They either want to piggyback off and cash in on a PPV fighter's success or they'll feed Golovkin these low level bums.
There's no middle ground.
Lara is "bad for tv" but they cherry picked a "slick southpaw with a Cuban style" anyway
Derp.
The only reason it makes for "bad tv" is the risk that Lara will make Golovkin look bad and kill the myth.Comment

Like I said earlier, how would you know that? How would you know what HBO has discussed with K2 regarding Al Haymon, etc.? You don't, just speculation like I said pages ago.Comment

i'll speculate about the beating golovkin would put on froch. it would last 6-9 rounds, and end froch's career.Comment

He is bad TV cause he runs, does bad ratings, bad draw, choked in his biggest opportunity, a fight he's been screaming for for years. HBO is not breaking the ice with Haymon over a guy like that esp since nobody would give him a chance of winning, not even a thick hater like you.Of course they won't because Lara is actually good.
