It does get frustrating sometimes. The keywords I've paid attention when Loeffler mentions anything about Lara is when he says "We've never turned down a fighter that HBO approves." Unfortunately it seems like it's HBO that is the one stopping a Lara match more than anything else. We know Lara just stated earlier this month that he's staying at 154 (repeated it a few times). We can speculate is to why he's staying there but we don't know for sure.

Hilarious stuff haha. Not really, he just thumped 3 top tenners in under 9 months, and has #1 rated SMW Cobra Froch cowering in fear

He gets hit just as much as anyone else. Someone with his style isn't going to be some elusive guy. And he hasn't really fought this way his whole career. He didn't really fight like this early in his career. Wasn't until he paired up with Abel that he started fighting more like this. And guys end up saying his defense is better than they thought. Murray just came out and said his defense was (insert what he said-can't remember verbatim). For the sake of argument, let's look at Lara. When he fought Angulo, he got hit 143 times in 10 rounds, even though he's a "slick" southpaw. That shouldn't happen against someone like Angulo. But either way, I want those fights to happen. I hope K2 is really doing all they can but we don't know.

he also only got hit 97 times in 12 vs Canelo. Anyways, punch stats don't mean anything. They count shots that just sniffed his shoulder ffs. I don't care what Murray says, he's not a world class fighter. And he still repeatedly hit GGG straight on the chin.

Murray can't punch very hard so obviously GGG just smiled at him. You don't see Lara taking those kind of punches for fun. But that's of course also one of the reasons why GGG is so exciting to watch. He takes risks and doesn't fight the way eastern europeans normally fight or central asians or wherever you'd like to attest his style to.

All i'm saying is he needs to pick up on his defense quite heavily if he was to fight someone like Froch.

Froch and Hearn have both said that as soon as its a double PPV fight, Froch would fight GGG in a heartbeat.
