Lara actually moves well and is a terrific counter-puncher. Something Golovkin apparently requested for this fight.
lara is not a terrific counter-puncher, he's not much of a counter-puncher at all actually

GGG isn't going to 154 to fight Lara.
That video was from March 8th of this year. As of 9 days ago, Lara is staying at 154lbs. Those are his words.
The WBA MW belt is right there for Lara. He would be 1 win away from forcing this fight that he supposedly wants. He will not do that though because he is staying at JMW and he does not want to fight Golovkin.
His current weight class is 154. He'd go to 160 for a big fight like Golovkin. We all know that. Enough of the smoke and mirrors. Are you on K2's payroll?

Why does he have to fight someone else to get a shot at Golovkin whereas ya boy, Willie Jr, gets the fight automatically off the back off beating a shot to **** Bryan Vera?

        Makes no sense

          The fans deserve answers.

Willie Munson Jr = ratings doe
Maybe he talked it over with HBO in the mean time, and got a no go. You must have noticed a lack of Haymon fighters on HBO?

That's a nice point. Other than Lara, who else would you have preferred that GGG fought in may?

Maybe? The fans deserve more than maybes. And I'm not buying it.

I suggested Hopkins on the under card of Froch-Chavez. Actually Julio Jr suggested that and I thought it was a cool idea.

Seriously guy? If Lara ran like a b*tch against Canelo, what will you expect against GGG? An Algieri performance.

i just watched monroe and at first he looked pretty fast and athletic, then he started throwing punches and quickly slowed down which seemed fatigue, he looks weak, punches very weak and very sloppy and inaccurate with his shots

definitely would have been much better if lara happened, but like most guys that fight 3+ times a year, there's atleast one low tier opponent, so im willing to sitback and enjoy the bulldozing
