I don't get people. I don't give a **** who gets paid what. I love boxing and if I can watch more of it on more channels I am all for it. Me and my pops watched all the boxing that came on basic cable back in the day. I never will understand people. Green K.

The good news is the constant bitching about the ring walks and horrible announce teams is last weeks news, now we can move on and worry about Al Haymon losing his investors money. Lets keep ignoring these fights are more accessible to new fans and breaking viewership records for a sport that year after year the ratings kept dwindling.

I don't think any true boxing fan wants this to fail. If so you're not a boxing fan. What I see here are many people mistaking those questioning how this can succeed long term for wanting it to fail.

I want it to fail because of what I believe Haymon wishes to do, and that is remake boxing in the UFC model of business. He wants to replace over a century of titles and tradition with his own closed league of fighters with himself in total control. I think this will destroy boxing, not help it and hope he loses his shirt.

What I would like to see would be boxing presented normally, as it is on Showtime and HBO with no ulterior motives to control the sport. I want to see the sport presented in the same way as a NFL game or MLB game or NHL game. THAT will have my support. Haymon and his ideas never will.

When posters see the same people who have stated dozens of times they do not care about finances of fighters then making arguments based mostly on the purses boxers get, they tend to doubt the sincerity of that poster and assume its something else.
