Kudryashov is a giant CW don't know why he's listed. Beterbiev quite soon and down the road Mekhontsev and Gvozdyk will be guys people think have a shot too.

If Andre Ward should happen to venture north one weightclass, I think he beats the Krusher. Everybody else around that weight gets a beatdown, but Andre can do it.

You hate it, but you know it's pretty likely true. So you hate it even more.

Andre Ward doesn't move up -- not because of Kovalev (maybe), but because of Beterbiev for sure...

We'll see what happens. Ward could be toast from combination of inactivity, advancing age and who knows how well he has recovered from surgery? Hasn't he had some recent surgery as well?

None of the above would utterly shock me, however, if he's good and with an appropriate tune up or two, who has Beterbiev beat in the pros to make me think Ward is/might be/should be afraid of him, especially if I don't believe Ward's scared (or needs to be) of Kovalev?

Really. I'm here waiting to be convinced.

I don't like it, but I agree with everything you said. Ward is the only one with a decent chance at 175.

Adonis can beat him. Its a closer fight than people think.

Kovalev is a great fighter, but he's not impossible to hit, and Adonis has greater one punch power than even Kovalev. Its a good fight, obviously. I think Kovalev would win, perhaps by decision or late stoppage, but I could easily see Adnois koing Kovalev in the middle of the fight.

3 years ago I said nobody beats Kovalev and he will clean out 175, and clean out EVERYONE, if given the chance.

3 years later: I must repeat: NO ONE, I mean NO ONE beats Kovalev at 175 right now. He's going to rule this division until he retires the undefeated-undisputed-LHW GOAT.

Too much power. Too much skill. Too much Krusher.

anyone who says gennady beats him needs to go to rehab. gennady is significantly smaller than kovalev and their both power punching boxer/punchers. he'd put gloveking to sleep.

stevenson has always had an even shot, but of course, he wanted no part of that. lets see if it happens next. i don't think ward is a shoe in at all considering he isn't anywhere near as wild and unpredictable as pascal. i still think he's probably got an even shot as well.

No one at 175. Maybe Ward after a few tune ups in his comeback.
