Please tell me one win on Cottos resume that would be better if he were to defeat GGG. Go ahead ill wait.
He beat the guy (in a rematch) who held the title of the most feared at the time.

Margarito at that time was a guy coming off optical eye surgery. He wasnt feared by anybody. That rematch was marketable because of the plasters only.

The most feared man "at this present time" is Golovkin. Beating Golovkin 5 years down the line when hes had losses is not the same thing as beating him right now would.

2015 win over GGG > 2011 Margs win. And its not even close.

I'm capable of taking a rational step backwards and seeing that Cotto is a jr middleweight, who because of boxing politricks, got a shot at a champion that at the stage he got him, probably wasn't even one of thw top 5 fighters in his division any more. I'm also advanced enough as a fan that I know Cotto has ZERO to do with the middleweight landscape. And of those currently in the legitimate middleweight landscape, GGG has the best resume. So it makes no difference to me if Cotto has 50 belts and GGG had none. The resumes, and common sense dictate that GGG is THE MAN at 60, and Cotto is a one-n-done. And the only reason he's holding thst belt is so he'll have a bargaining chip when it comes to trying to make fights with the Floyds and Canelos of the world. Guys who offer paydays that GGG simply can't at this stage of his career.
Just WTF does this comment mean? It makes no damn sense. The fighter has always made the belt, not the other way around. No one wants to fight Mayweather or Pacquaio because they have belts or for legacy reasons. No one wanted to fight Muhammad Ali because he had a belt. They want to fight them for the money that will come with the fight. At one point in his career, for about a year, Marco Antonio Barerra refused to fight for any belts or pay any sanctioning fees, yet he still managed to get the best fights.

GGG doesn't want to fight Cotto or Canelo Alvarez for a belt. He didn't want to fight Chavez Jr. for a belt. He wants to fight them for the money they bring to the table. That is precisely why he doesn't want to fight Andre Ward -- because the amount of money he would make is not worth the ass-whipping GGG will have to take. Cotto doesn't see GGG as a money-making fight. That is why the fight won't take place. It damn sure isn't because Cotto is afraid, in spite of what the clowns on this site think.

The only place where GGG is the most feared man is in the minds of people who post on this website. These are the same people who at one point have declared Margarito, Matthysse, Pacquaio and Keith Thurman as the most feared men in boxing

What $$$ does GGG really bring to the table against Cotto doe?

I mean... You excuse GGG ducking Ward on the premise that Ward brings NO $$$ doe.

            Do you always self-own?

Fixed it for you. But yeah, its a typical high risk/low reward matchup for Cotto that offers nothing.

I disagree with that list lol. There have not been any feared fighters that I can remember since Mike Tyson back in the day. Before that George Foreman.

Who according to you is more feared than GGG right now? You could also use "avoided". No1 wants to fight the dude.
