    Broner struggling to make 140.

Stay in the witness protection program. 140lbs for a bloated wannabe Floyd.

Everything GGG needs to legitimize the hype is a division north. ****'n around, fighting ESPN fighters, and calling out B level fighters that happend to be the class of a pathetic division isn't doing him any favors. He is in his 30s you know.
So vacate, so that ruthless beatdown Cotto would get wont happen. Lets say GGG moves up and cotto all of sudden starts fighting MW's and "defending" his title. How bad would that look?

      • Cotto's been babysitting the Linear MW title for over 9 months now and still doesn't have a fight scheduled. It won't be long before even his stans will quit defending such behavior.

And if he moves to 168 and does the same there as he does at 160, and fighters start ducking him there as well, people like you will be complaining that he doesn't move to LHW. GGG cannot possibly win with some people unless he moves up to HW and takes on Wlad.

All of these attributes are opposite of what all of GGG's past opponents have done. Cotto has a team behind him, I think he is tied up at the moment because of The big fight and Roach has to focus on Manny so Cotto is in no hurry and he got a signing bonus - so no speculation on who's a B!tch, who's irrelevant etc..
LOL....Cotto this, Cotto that - Cotto doesn't have the balls to even step into the ring with GGG. No point talking about what he can do

Didnt Cotto want that shiny thing when he fought Sergio? Or was he looking for that fierce ultra competitive fight from a guy coming of two knee surgeries?

That said, GGG becomes "great" NOT by getting his hands on a shiny object, but rather by FIGHTING. So unlike some, I never get caught up in the shiny things like belts and the politics. I like to see competetive fights... I'd sooner watch GGG fight a guy ranked at #6 who is a legit threat, over a "middleweight champion," who we KNOW does not belong at middleweight.

My position is simple: GGG VS Cotto is not really a fight most true fans need to see play out. And yet, so many are acting like THIS is the fight GGG needs to make a REAL mark in his career.

The double standard: Cotto's win over Sergio is not acknowledged because Sergio was "handicapped...." and yet, GGG's win over Cotto, would be celebrated by peasants as the greatest thing ever even though, we all know Cotto is TOO SMALL for Middleweight.

                It's comedy around here doe.
Agree absolutely... but vacate that darn belt and stop pretending being a MW lineal champ.

hiding is fighting in your own division where you body is at its most comfortable? How about cotto dare to be great and fight GGG? I dont see any un-asterisked* signature win on his resume. A GGG win would just about fill that void.

You are ACTING as if Cotto is a TRUE MW. That alone makes you either slow or a Cotto hater looking to watch a mismatch for kicks.

                    Peasants...
your the only one who thinks I see him as a true MW. I said that he should defend his belt against someone in that weight class or vacate the title. If he had no plans on being the champ and having a belt in the weight class he should not have fought for the title in the first place. If what your saying as a True Fight Fan is that its acceptable to just fight so you can say your the first Rican to win in 4 weight classes and take up a title and have no intention of defending it then I guess I'm not really a True Fight Fan because I believe there should be a unified champion, I believe when you are a champion you should fight all comers to defend that championship, I believe there should be fights every 6 months mandatory if you hold a belt.

Should I go on why I'm not a true fight fan? I want to see competitive fights, I want to see title fights regardless. THere used to be a day where there was 1 champioin per weight class and they would fight 2 to 4 times a year defending the belt they held. Now we have a weight division every 3 lbs and 5 belts or more for each division, now no this is not the fighters fault it's boxings but it is the fighters fault when they have a belt and choose not to defend it, Cotto claims to be his own boss which means that he could fight anyone if that other person says lets fight correct? He claims to not have the promoters running his life as do so many other fighters right? which would mean hes the one turning down fights when offered or challenged right?

I also never took away anything from Cotto in his past wins even when he fought and won against Martinez and always called him a warrior in the past since I first saw him fight over 10 years ago. So how can I be this "Peasant Hater" as you also claim? I have stated my displeasure with Cotto's over inflated ego when he hasnt done crap with his career since 2008 in his first loss to Margaritto. He was always a warrior and still is but his antics speak far louder than his actions with thinking he deserves more than he is getting.
