Truth is, I give Cotto a chance to actually win. That said, I don't think beating Cotto brings GGG any real glory. GGG is the bigger man and expected to "destroy" Cotto.
So where is the glory? Why the hype for this fight if it's a foregone conclusion?
Ah yes... the shiny object that somehow means "nothing" when Cotto wins it from Sergio, but would somehow mean "everything" if GGG wins it from little miguel.Comment

I'm comparing the fame gained by beating them. Chavez may be the tougher fight. But he's not a legit top ten guy at 168 or 175. Many think he gets massacred by GGG. The point is that both bring fame and are not the most difficult opponents in there respective weight classes.Comment

When did I ever say I don't want to see that fight? I'm not gonna jump the gun like everyone else. Ima see what he does and then criticize him accordingly just like I do to ALL fighters.Comment

I didnt doubt you man in the least, and as I said I can back up everything I state which I did in my last post with 3 good reasons. Unfortunately he has only tried to defend Cotto's reason for not fighting and or tried passing the conversation off to different fighters when the subject matter is Cotto vs GGG.
I may like or dislike certain fighters and I do have my favorites but facts are facts and you cent disagree with facts especially when they have been proven many times in many situations.
I cant stand Mayweather hate him with a passion but I give him credit where credit is due and you can even look back at my post history and will see this.Comment

Son, you are a Canelo APOLOGIST. All you do is deflect, and encourage talks of ANYBODY NOT named Canelo as GGG's next opponent.
Tell now, WHO is Canelo waiting for at 155lbs?
Is that a stacked division?
Why did Canelo say "I am comfortable at 155lbs and NO need to move to 160lbs?"
Shookness 101Comment

Literally no one has said that. Stop projecting. It's a very feminine trait. For such a supposed alpha male, you do argue from a very emotional stance.Truth is, I give Cotto a chance to actually win. Beating Cotto is just red tape. It doesn't mean anything. Austin Trout easily beat Cotto. It's not some legendary feat.Comment

The title is secondary. Like when Oscar beat Chavez Sr. Oscar was much bigger and stronger and Sr was at the end. It still gave ODLH a lot of fame because he beat a name. Like Tito beating Camacho and Whitaker. Even Floyd beating up fan favorite Gatti gained Floyd a lot of credit and that was a huge mismatch.Truth is, I give Cotto a chance to actually win.
