Cotto is just a pawn. A tool to make Golovkin a bigger name. No one thinks it would be a great win.
Because so many fans prefer fluff to SUBTANCE. Does not make it heroic.

Funny how, Cotto winning the MW title does not matter because "sergio's knee doe" and yet, in the same breath, GGG's win over a Jr. Middle, would make him a legend...

    AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

    Peasant logic is pure comedy.

    Laughing Cotto agrees.

"Cotto a blown up, washed up, shot welterweight doe. Who only won the belt from handicapped martinez doe"

and he's the one that ya say will make GGG a "star". How about, daring to be great and move up 8 lbs north. Ward, Chavez Jr, Froch are waiting.

Do these guys ever shut up? I can't stand Sanchez and Loeffler. They're pathetic. I agree with Peasant, I don't wanna see this fight. Cotto is not a middleweight, he needs to vacate his title and go back to 154. Golovkin fanboys just want him to become a superstar by beating the much smaller Cotto, Cotto haters just want to see him get brutalized and neutral boxing fans think this fight is a fcuking mismatch.

You really have reading comprehension problems don't you? Is your family name Mayweather? No one has said beating Cotto would make GGG a legend. None of us have even said it would be a competitive fight because we all know it would be less than a sparring session for Golovkin. All we want to see is the title in the proper hands, and those hands are not Cotto's. The guy has basically admitted it himself!

Cotto needs to be a man and ...

            VACATE THE TITLE!!!!

No one said it would make him heroic or a legend.

I said it would make him a bigger name and a PPV fighter.

              You're projecting hard.

                TOMA !!!!!!

My brother, do you see the hypocrisy in these peasants?

They want the world to believe that GGG beating a washed up little ex Jr welter, is the stuff of legends...

As if, one night on ESPN in 2040, some kid is going to be fooled by watching "legendary nights" "the night Gennady beat Miguel Cotto and became the greatest middleweight that ever lived!"

                AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

ODH, a 154 lbs fighter chose to fight pacquiao, a 135 lbs fighter at 147 lbs. Not the same situation.

I would love to see either fight 10X more than a Cotto fight. If I want to see Puerto Rican chickens getting slaughtered, I'll watch the cooks do it at my local PR restaurant.
