I think Broner/Berto is a solid fight.

Maidana is chasing the Garcia fight and let's be honest, Khan isn't fighting Thurman.

That's why I'm thinking that he fights Berto next and then closes out the year with a fight against Marcos Maidana (Danny Garcia has no reason to even think about fighting Maidana, especially if he looks stellar in his fight against Peterson; would be thrown right into the Mayweather sweepstakes).

Khan is looking for a big fight (Mayweather/Pacquiao, who are fighting each other, and Kell Brook, a fight he seems aprehensive of, are his big fight opponents at the moment; Thurman performing the way he did, and performing well in his next fight, would stand out as a really big fight. Unless he gets the Garcia rematch, I can't see another big fight for him.

Thurman is long time buddies with Berto, if that's who you're talking about, hard to see it.

I'm not sure Garcia is all that interested in the Mayweather sweepstakes, he wasn't the last time, and it's not something the public wanted.

Maidana would be a good introduction to 147 for Garcia imo, winnable fight against a biggish name.
