Why do guys keep crying about Lara? The guy ran from canelo and got dropped by bum ass Angulo. Ggg is way better than those guys, you really think he'd do anything?

I would rather he fight Monroe than Lara as Lara is not a middleweight. Let him move up and take a couple of fights to prove himself at the weight and then he can go for a title fight against GGG. IF his master would permit him to fight on HBO that is. The way things are at the moment, Lara cannot fight on HBO so any discussion of him as a possible opponent of GGG is pointless.

Yeah I agree. Theres probably more animosity now, what with Pbc, Gbp situation, Stevenson etc. Rodriguez and Arreola was before all that, plus both guys had real promoters Hbo worked with. Hbo wouldnt go back to Haymon especially for a non attraction like Lara who usually makes for a bad fight

Can't see him allowing Lara to just go fight on HBO unless it was a mandatory/purse bid situation. Even then we seen what happened with Kid Undercard dumping his belt and a career high payday rather than fight Korobov on HBO.

2 fights ago in GGG time means Dec 2014. 2 fights ago Ward time means Sept 2012. It's all relative.

The current state of affairs is that Haymon fighters do not fight on HBO. If you have evidence to the contrary that is less than a year old, please feel free to share it.
