Lara is NOT a MIDDLEWEIGHT and he is signed with Haymon and cannot fight on HBO. And IF Golovkin was to fight and destroy him, people would just say he was picking on a smaller fighter.
seriously doubt haymon would let lara fight on HBO. But yeah sure he'd do fine too, I guess.
Lara headlined a Showtime card, near his adopted home of Houston, TX and stunk out the joint on TV.
Outside of a fight with Demetrious Andrade, which seems like something he's passing on, there's no other real meaningful fight that Haymon really has for Lara in the que. A Golovkin fight puts some money in Lara's pocket, gives him more exposure, and throws him into a fight where his experience and style gives him a decent shot at winning.
K2 has HBO's blessing to push Golovkin; if they wanted to bring in Lara, just like when Goosen needed to bring in Rodriguez for Ward, the effort is doable.
Surely hbo isn't allowing this. Canelo needed an opponent ggg said he'll go to 154 so what's the problem. Hbo couldn't make MayweatherPacquiao or Stevenson/Kovalev while they was all on hbo. What are they doing?? Al Haymon and his mismatches again...oops
He want to fight 4 times when isn't many top fighters who want to face him, and he would continue to massacre this guys till the day some one grow up some balls.
