GGG was fighting low level opponents before Cotto and he is still Fighting them after Cotto so that tells us alot about the GGG "plan". Reality is what it is, its ridiculous to expect Cotto to fight GGG so soon, after having only one fight at middleweight. GGG has been at the weight his entire career and his biggest achievement is Martin Murray so lets keep this in perspective.

I have been saying this since Cotto won the WBC title. Cotto will fight two more times before fighting GGG maybe early next year if Cotto defends the title successfully. I would like to see Cotto fight Lemeiux because he and GGG are very similar in size punching power and fighting style (obviously GGG is better). I would hope the Canelo fight gets made next, if it doesnt I could see Cotto going back down to Jr Middleweight for one fight then going back up to fight GGG after.

Saunders signed a deal to take step aside $ and fight on April 18th on the same card as Lee vs Kid Undercard and then will fight the winner. That's why he didn't fight N'Dam for the IBF.
Lemieux agreed to fight N'Dam but there is still no date set. I'd imagine that GYM filing a lawsuit against GBP and Lemieux could have something to do with no date yet.
If Gary Hyde wants to put N'Dam(who skipped purse bids and dumped a belt to avoid GGG before) in with GGG rather than wait on Lemieux, then that's on him and the IBF to get it done.

This is not Pac and May, when money is involved and and publicity these thing tend to work themselves out. I think Lemeiux vs GGG would be a hellofa fight for as long as it lasts.

he was trying to fight the best before cotto and he was trying to fight the best after cotto. you seem to subscribe to the "well if everyone else ducked ggg, i guess cotto can do it" mindset. ggg's plan was to get the best fighters in the division in the ring and it worked to some degree but he got the less popular ones, the more cowardly/guys with more to lose are being more difficult to corner so its taking longer than expected. in the mean time he's going to keep fighting and putting pressure on them while cotto keeps stalling and trying to find the perfect cherry.

no cotto won't fight twice before fighting ggg because ggg is his mandatory. wbc said he had one optional fight and if cotto goes down to 154 i'm sure they will enforce the mandatory/strip him.

Looks like you dont know what a "coy" statement is. I guess i need to make it clear, spell it out. Boxing is about MONEY, MONEY makes the decisions, MONEY makes people do certain things, like agree to step aside or agree to mutually cancel a contract. Garcia signed a contract to fight Morales, there was a rematch clause, Morales excepted money to allow Garcia to not honor the contract and fight Khan as long as he fought Morales immediately after. See very simple do you get it now?

Selective reading I guess. Cotto doesnt have an optional defense he has a voluntary defense, his Voluntary is optional see what I did there. As long as cotto defends his title once a year at the weight it is ok for him to move up or down without being stripped. So if Cotto exercises his voluntary defense in June Cotto will have until June 2016 to defend against GGG.

You call GGG's choice of opponent "pressure" and say Cotto is cherry picking. lol the absolute confirmation of a bias fan.

True indeed, However I will be tuning in because I love boxing and I enjoy watching GGG.
