He didn't single out Manny's win, he qualified both Cotto's losses. it was relevant because it was part of the actual quote. If you leave it out, you change the quote to seem like it was intended to discredit Manny when the quote was elevating Cotto despite his losses.

I also thought it was a good win, but I also note it was at 145 and not 147. Did he lie about these? If not, then you can't really complain as those are decisions manny and his camp made.
