PBC brought something different to the table and people are discussing why they do or don't like it. I don't see what's the issue.

I was mixed on the ring entrance, but I like the fact that they didn't let 50 randoms soil the ring. Always been a pet peeve of mine that they let anyone enter the ring.

People please, this is a step forward for our beloved sport. Sure the can adjust a bit but I'm more than overjoyed that we have these fights on "Free TV." I do believe they wil have the cornermen accompany the fighter and entrance music. These entourages and rappers that we can't hear accompanying fighters are really uneccesary

They can save the entourages for cable and the bigger fights. I can live without that. But let the fighters come in to their own music. The rest of the production was solid. The graphics, cameras, etc. The commentating was mediocre; maybe that gets better but it definitely needs to improve. All in all, not a bad night of boxing and the main event turned out to be a good one.

Didnt like the fact they only showed black fighters of the past and put Mayweather as the greatest of this era. It shows disrespect to whites and latinos and creates a misperception that blacks dominate boxing history.

Sugar Ray was terrible. Marv Albert brought nothing. Laila Ali needs to go away, she had a fraudulent boxing career. Other than that it was a good show.

The enterances were dull and lacking the big fight feel. I missed the entourage but only for the walk in. I like to see the belts and flags in the background as everybody follows the fighter to the ring like they're a really important person. I think they should handle it Like UFC. The entourage is allowed to walk out from the dressing room to ringside with the fighter but not allowed to step into the ring once they get there. Only the head trainer should be allowed in the ring.

I did miss the between the rounds, BJ and Laila were terrible. Think BJ will improve but Laila brought no juice.. dry as ****.

I'm sure they'll be improvements done before they get back to a national audience in April

Can you imagine Norman stone on one of these cards.. The networks and censors would go crazy...
Remember a few years ago the little fight mayhem miller got into during the post fight interviews when CBS was airing prime time mma... The networks flipped out and was suspending and banning fighters... And that was a very tame incident compared to boxing's hijinks

This is why I kinda don't like boxing being on network TV,, boxing is an adult sport and should be rated -R, and that's why it's so much better on hbo and showtime.. It's not the watered down pg-13 version, and we miss nearly all the between rounds corner talk which is usually always entertaining
it reminded me of dancing with the stars format. leonard a nice guy and a great fighter is a bad announcer. marv albert was just screaming at punches landed by the house fighters broner and thurman

Molina didn't do much to warrant any praise, but I noticed Marv was jockin Thurman a bit much.

golovkins seven nation army? cotto used that song twice in his carreer before golovkin!
