    Pg-13, yup.
That's why they cut off Broner and his can man speech

      I liked it.

All the crap cut out and straight to the point.

Then again, I'm an odd sort of character around here. I like boxing, the sport. Not the drama, hype and bullshït that surrounds it.

Save all that for the PPVs. It's making a big deal out of smaller fights which give fighters a false sense of stardom and turns them into primmadonnas. Prove yourself in the ring, earn your chance to be on a PPV, then you can have all the theatrics.

Boxing was back on network TV from a 30 year absence and people are complaining. That bump on Thurman's head and the black eyes on Guerrero tells me it was gritty enough. You can go watch rap videos if you want to see dancing and carrying on.

Btw, I'm a big rap fan... Just trying to make a point.

I prefer no BS on the way to the ring instead of the hbo garbage with songs and a 12 man parade!!
The commentating was terrible we heard Leonard many years try to comment but he's terrible. Then dragging out the "old regime" that didn't know boxing 30 years was another bad choice.
If they can find a commentator without any bias and a "color" guy ex fighter to ad some reality thats all you need.
I actually like Paulie because his insight is basic and true and if he just slows down and breathes he'd be fine.

Molina was a huge disappointment to me, he didn't bring it like I thought he would. He doesn't have talent to beat Adrian but I thought he go for it the first 4 rds.
Adrian looked good against a guy who wasn't trying, his jab was excellant as everyone could see he can move very well when he wants too.

Thurman got his reprise against a cement footed opponent with guts. Now you saw clearly why Mayweather picked Robert
. he has no power no speed but he tries and hs bravery is there for everyone to admire. Thats fine but he has nothing to offer against talented guys.
The show was ok but it needs better talents. Those weren't main event fighter to me.

I don't agree with you at all. For years people have complained about the entourages. Now they're gone and you all complain ?

It had nothing to do with it bring network tv. Hsymon has a common theme going and that's attention soley on the boxers.

All that smoke and mirrors don't make boxing better. Commentators suck, even sugar. Sounded script.

Was the audio out of sync with people's lips for anyone else?

Leonard was always a weak commentator. I hope he's not part of the plan in the long-term.

Could not have said it better.

I think one of the major reasons as well is that they were trying to keep to a really tight time frame of when fights started, as the time was purchased I bet they had no option to "run over".

Having one guy and saying "Go!" means he goes. When you get a train of people, it's all "Esteban! quit messing with your hair, Tyrone your sunglasses are fine, Willy other direction! Billy quit praying we gotta walk now" etc.. etc..

Can you imagine Norman stone on one of these cards.. The networks and censors would go crazy...
Remember a few years ago the little fight mayhem miller got into during the post fight interviews when CBS was airing prime time mma... The networks flipped out and was suspending and banning fighters... And that was a very tame incident compared to boxing's hijinks

This is why I kinda don't like boxing being on network TV,, boxing is an adult sport and should be rated -R, and that's why it's so much better on hbo and showtime.. It's not the watered down pg-13 version, and we miss nearly all the between rounds corner talk which is usually always entertaining
Once the network pays for this the commercials in between will go away which will be an instant improvement. I missed the entourage at first, but a part of me is glad we didn't get the usual broner show during the walk to the ring.

I didn't like kids e the entrances but they can fix that easily.
