I got the impression from last night that Haymon is building a brand. He's stripped the sport back to showcase the fighters & will continue to build

Watching Broner and his toned down antics I can see him playing a WWF/wrestling style character.

I thought it was really good, big names and on free tv.

The fighters love Haymon, he's putting big names out for free & still paying them well. As a boxing fan I can't hate on it.

I don't miss the entourages at all. Glad to see them gone tbh. Only thing I would say is that the cornermen probably should walk to the ring with the fighter, as it looks a bit weird seeing them do the walk on their own. It's a trivial point though.

Regarding the broader point of boxing being airbrushed or sanitized I don't think that's too likely, unless Haymon completely clamps down on coverage of fighters outside of the ring as well.
