Guerrero is tough, Thurman did well. When it looked like all hope was totally lost for Guererro he tried even harder. Thurman on the other hand did the opposite when all was in his favor, buying time sidestepping around the ring, not a good look and says something about him. Good fighter but dont expect him to pull it together when he inevitably gets in a bad situation. Good fight.

Good showing from Thurman, but I feel he got a lil exposed in this bout. He needs that sweet spot distance if you a lil too close he moves and moves and moves till he gets it, I think it was round 4 he went a minute and a half without throwing a single punch cause guerrero was trying to put the pressure on him and he didnt have that "sweet spot distance" that he needed, also from round 10 till the end he was pretty much on his bike just pot shotting with no real authority just get away from me shots cause guerrero was determined to make it a inside fight after being KD.

Now saying all that I think Thurman vs Porter will be a great fight, Porter is stronger 24/7 non stop version of Guerrero inside game, that all porter style is and porter is actually physically strong to muscle thurman around and move him how he wants with physical strength something guerrero is not, and porter is very quick on his feet and hand speed I think matched thurman quite evenly.

Porter vs Thurman is the next bout that should happen.

all in all Thurman put up a great fight a good showing but like I said I think he was lil exposed but when you look at the 147 landscape their is no one their physically strong enough to exploit them I think other then shawn porter.

Exactly, I question his grit, When guerrero got him in the corner and started mauling him he was a lil worried, he bend down super low covered up and wanted to turn away kinda like he was getting overwhelmed and at one point he looked at his corner. So just some things to keep in mind.

Eh, Maidana gasses easily, especially without Ariza on his team. Easy decision Thurman.

that fight might be pretty one-sided

He got sent to the hospital and not necessarily because of that hematoma either, he was feeling sick and wasnt feeling right so they just rushed him to the hospital. hope everything alright with him.

he beat khan up in the championship rounds of their fight I recall...

thurman is usuallly spent by round 10, as evidenced when he ran around the ring in round 11, so this fight is interesting to me

I don't think maidana will take those body shots like guerrero did, that was some ****
