Your point? Floyd isn't a small guy like most of you try to make him out to be. There's a reason why Floyd don't do day of fight weigh in. I 'll bet a bit that he himself is closer to 160 on fight night.

Still not sold on Thurman. I think Guerrero is really just a slow, plodding fighter he basically has no chance against people with movement. I bet Sugar Ray Rios would look amazing against Guerrero too.

Agree. Thurman/Maidana would be a good scrap. If Maidana comes in shape, I think I 'll leam towards Chino. If he can survive the first early Thurman shots, especially to the body, I think he takes the fight. For those saying Chino is slow, he isn't any slower than Guerrero and we see what happened when Guerrero put pressure on Thurman, he didn't seem to like it too much. Maidana will not only be putting pressure and swarming Thurman from the first round on, he will be mauling Thurman on the inside and landing some heavy thudding shots as well and we all know Maidana is extremely heavy handed too. As for stamina, sure Chino would get tired but we know he never stops coming but I can also see Thurman tire as we saw when Guerrero was pressuring him. It's gonna be a good scrap though.

Both Thurman and Guerrero would KO Broner at WW.
makes one wonder....What if Guerrero was a little more adaptive in the ring, if he had a really good corner that could give him instructions instead of just encouragement, and what if he could have used his jab to drive Thurmond back.

Guerrero is a counter puncher but Thurmond is fast, punches from many angles, thats why the Ghost looked so slow. If he had made the fight ugly and inside early it would have been very different.

I think Thurmond accomplished his mission but as another poster said....he was a bit exposed. He looked worried inside and did not have an answer when Guerrero changed the distance on him instead of trying to counter him in Thurmond's range.

Pleaseee... From what I saw last night, Thurman loses to Floyd, Pacquiao, Bradley.

                      50/50 fight with Brook.

Thurman has stamina issues. Floyd and Pacquiao would both make him tire out by the middle rounds...and they'd both take a clear UD victory from there.

Against Bradley,...Timmy would make this an ugly fight and he'd fight on the inside. I don't think Thurman can grind it out like that with Tim right now.
I disagree strongly he has a very good gas tank he just expends wayyy too much energy doing the Lara.

I just question his chin, reflexes and how he telegraphs many of his punches.
