I give a **** and you should too. Journalist like him (Paid by promoters) are part of the problem. The manipulate fans mind by writing and talking about **** promoters like Arum wants fans to know. They can easily make a boxer like in the case of Mayweather the villian just because of the context of their writing.

It sucks that some the of the most so called reputable writers and media personalities in the sport are just talking heads for certain promotional companies and media outlets.

It cheapens the sport and makes it look like amateur hour compared to other sports. Dan Rafeal is the voice of boxing on the largest sport outlet in America and even though he has good inside info because of his credentials, his reckless and negative writing towards Mayweather , Haymon or any other fighter associated with them just makes him come across as a biased clown and doesn't put the sport in a good light . Look how ridiculous he looked when it came to the May / Pac fight.


Rafeal, Lampley, Kim and writers of their ilk help fan the flames of the ignorant fan bases. I think this is part of the reason on fans of the sport look elsewhere for their information like this site or the independent YouTube channels because some fans can cut through the BS and just want unbiased informative journalism and opinions with out a agenda

Why does he still have any press credentials is far and beyond me. The man has an obvious agenda and ulterior motive against African American athletes in general and e.g. African American boxers, promoters, success stories in the sport of boxing in particular. Judging by his posts he has an obvious animus towards one race and it shows.
