That's all Kim and his fans and circle of nerds (topRank fanboys) do is talk about boxers and hate all day

I wonder why so many of boxing's most prominent journalists (Rafael-ESPN, Fischer-Ring, Kim-Boxing Scene) are such biased shills.

You never see such tilted reporting in any other sport. I think it just lends to the fact that boxing gets the scraps. The worst fans, the worst journalists, etc.

No other sport is as political as boxing.

I don't think we have the worst fans or the worst journalists. It's the nature of boxing, with fighters essentially being open contractors being managed in small conglomerates by promoters/managers with their own pocket filling agenda. It's too easy to fall on one side or the other.

Imagine a crazy scenario where NFL teams had no league and just traveled from city to city and playing games somewhat randomly as determined by their individual promoters.

When I transition into the next life I'll rest easy knowing that I did my part in shedding light on the farce that is Miguel Cotto.

Will you be able to say the same? Join us!

            For those who have been down for the cause;

We see you! keep fighting the good fight!

I liked Cotto. Was happy for him when he beat Mosley and felt terrible after what Margacheato did to him. Rooted for him against Manny hard and Floyd as well.
But recently he seems to just be looking for easy wins. Rodriquez was a bum, then he turned down a career payday against Canelo to cherry pick a 40 year old man coming off a year layoff and two knee surgeries. Great he got a middle weight strap out of it. But then he ducks his biggest payday again and refuses to even entertain the thought of defending his belt against the best fighter in the division.
Steve Kim aside Cotto has brought a lot of the hate on himself.

All this Cotto hate and why... because he's taking his voluntary option? Man you people are SALTY as **** it's hilarious. All this hate, Cotto isn't fighting this guy or that guy and yet... of the best WW's of the past decade he:

Fought Mosley (years before May and Pac)
Fought Margarito (when no one else would)
Fought Manny (In his prime before Floyd, Mosley, Margarito)
Fought Floyd (Before Manny and Shane)
Fought Martinez (When no one else would)

And yet... we hate on the guy because he's a diva? So what if he is a diva, he's done more than anyone else in boxing except for maybe Manny and Floyd but he's getting hate because he won't fight GGG?

Or are you guys mad because he's with Jay-Z now? I don't even get all the hate. If it's because of the MW title, who cares... he gets a voluntary first, period. Blame the WBC for making that rule then, not Cotto for going with it.

Why doesn't Cotto get in there and do the job himself then?

One of the articles I read on the RN deal kind of intimated that the GGG fight in the future may be part of it. Cotto hasn't closed the door on that fight when the reporters were asking him about it at the NYC luncheon yesterday, which is making them think in addition to the huge signing bonus, extra promotional work with Cotto Promotions on boxing cards and concerts, backing of his charity to fight childhood obesity (this was one of Cotto's prime requirements in the deal) and multi-fight contract, that GGG would be one of those fights.

We just got to let it all unfold and see what happens.
