Hmm sitting here pondering the merits of Roach's opinion on whose the better trainer for Jr., I can see what he's saying and he's probably right. Mayweather Jr is to a degree "self-made" skill wise, training/work ethic etc as Roach alluded to, so even if its True its not the kind of advantage/disadvantage that will ultimately win or lose this fight for either side.


I don't know the context in which Roach was asked this question or why he said this but I'm sure he understands it will illicit a response from Mayweather Sr. & Co. lol, its part of the promotion I guess.

Roach likes to talk that ying yang and kick up the dirt, create some drama, and I'm sure there will be "plenty" of back and banter up til May 2.

Even though I think roach is a joke coach, he may have a point here. If pac can stay balanced and still connect with his punches, Floyd Jr. May have a difficult night. I think floyd will find a way to win, but I think Pac will surprise him with is speed.

I like both, but Sr. is definitely the better option against Manny.
