This. Arum knows better, but looks like he's just a figurehead at this point and it was on DuBoef taking a fighter's word for it. Huge mistake. At least we now know he never had any intention of actually fighting Canelo.

I wonder what the details of the Roc Nation deal are. What kind of fights can they even get him? Jay-Z and Haymon aren't exactly friends, so he won't be fighting PBC guys most likely. Top Rank won't be quick to offer him their guys after this. What are his realistic options?

Ok cool I guess. But I wanna know what this means as far as who COTTO will fight next? Roc nation is not gonna put him in there with 3G.

I'd promise Roc huge things, request an easy expensive tuneup fight then abruptly retire.

How dare Cotto, who has fought many top fighters, actually look out for his best interest.

Roc probably gonna use Cotto to build GGG in a PPV fighter then match him with Ward.

Roc has pretty much been a failed outing... I doubt the big players would drop their defenses to deal with a company that thus far can't keep fighters signed for more than 2 weeks.

Cotto is a free agent & his own boss... probably got a good deal with ROCNation.
