Showtime had every right to say Floyd wasn't living up to his end by not living up to the money he was supposed to be making. I don't need a contract to know everything revolves around money.
Lol they can't sign a contract and add a clause after the fact ... That's not the way business works. What do you think Floyd just signed a blank piece of paper and they are filling it out little by little adding and subtracting things?

What if Manny flat out said no? What if they tried to price Floyd out .. Would he have still been "forced"

To many intangibles to know that it didn't go down like that... Contracts aren't written up in "if's" ...

Showtime OUTBID HBO. They totally knew what they were doing. In my opinion, it was more about grabbing market share and market share from HBO, than making a profit.
Why would someone cancel HBO to watch Floyd fight on a Showtime PPV? Whatever Showtime did it wasn't working until they got in on the Floyd/Manny sweepstakes and it's been OPENLY reported that the fight is happening because Les made it happen.

If Manny said no, then Floyd had a good reason why he couldn't live up to the contract. But avoiding Manny isn't a valid reason and... that's theoretical anyway, Manny's wanted the fight for years. You can feel how you want about it, Floyd said he'd never fight Manny with Arum involved and what happened... Arum is involved. About the only thing Floyd got his way was more money, everything else he didn't have any say on at all. He's not his own boss.

Trying to do their best to make sure Mayweather is at his best has nothing to do on what Al Haymon supposed to be doing (blocking Manny's suppose spar mates by offering them more money) this is boxing. If You and other Floyd's groupies think that Floyd is so superior against Manny, why going too far as to block his supposed sparring partners? Mind games? I think not. It's called lack of confidence.
You stop there? What does that mean? So you base Manny's character or morals on wether or not Mayweather also did something? Fact is Manny and his team have done a lot of things to gain an edge over his opponents that are frowned upon.
And your excuse is "Mayweather did it too" ...and???? according to you guys Mayweather is scum. So what's that make Manny?

Who in their right mind as a businessman stand point will do such a thing? "it was more about grabbing market share and market share from HBO, than MAKING A PROFIT"?

Showtime already losing some money from Floyds fights other than Canelo. If you are a business owner would it be ok for you to lose money or just break even after spending lots of money for your capital? C'mon man!!!!

Roach and the Pacquiao camp cannot stop talking. They are making sure they have built in excuses when they lose.

Is it trying to make your opponent less that optimum for your fight? Yes.

Deflating the footballs and spygate would be a better example then. Either way it's cheap tactics that makes him look like a sissy.
Huh? you can't be serious. If Roach wants these guys as sparring partners then he or Bob should pay them more than Al is paying them. Simple. Its not like spygate or deflating footballs as those are against the rules /cheating. If this is true, it isn't cheating.

The better example is a college player that commits to school A, then gets a better scholarship offer from school B and takes it rather than signing the letter of intent to school A.

Steroids, blocking sparring partners, what's next, dictating when he trains too? Let the cheating and goal post moving commence.
