Roach needs to stop complaining. He should at least be greatful that he gets to wear his own gloves. In no way shape or form does Pacquiao's side call any shots.
That's why they call it negotiations, Floyd camp offer, Manny's camp counter offer and vice versa. There's an Article that Dan Rafael wrote on ESPN, check it out. It didn't say all the details about the negotiation, but it'll give you an idea how it went.
For those thinking this is smart, you guys are fools. To me, this is the equivalent of Floyd standing up at a media conference and saying "I hope Manny gets hurt and goes into the fight with an injured rib so I have a better chance at winning." "I don't want Manny at his best, I want Manny at his worst so I don't have too hard of a fight beating him."
Maybe LeBron can saw before the finals when they play the Warriors this year, that he wants Steph Curry out with an injury or suspension. That way they don't have to face a tough challenge and can just walk into the finals with an easy win. Who says that?
You want to fight the best AT THEIR BEST so you can say "Yeah, b*tch. I made more money than you and I beat your ass when you were at your best. Now what?" But you guys are apparently fine with taking the "Cotto" route and fighting an injured fighter with bad knee's. The next fl*mo I see calling Sergio an injured cripple is going to be reminded what Floyd is doing.
He didn't have to fight money, he was supposed to make money. You think Showtime signed that contract with the clause that "Floyd can't make money and there is nothing you can do about it?" Floyd got to fight who he wanted, Les said this **** isn't going to fly and he had to fight Manny to make the contract valid. Showtime had every right to say Floyd wasn't living up to his end by not living up to the money he was supposed to be making. I don't need a contract to know everything revolves around money.
Showtime weighed the fact that they could lose money on the Mayweather deal beforehand. Even Arum stated when the deal was signed that they would likely lose money. The risk is always weighed and considered. If if they weren't prepared to absorb the risk/loss, they wouldn't have made the deal.
Showtime OUTBID HBO. They totally knew what they were doing. In my opinion, it was more about grabbing market share and market share from HBO, than making a profit.

is an injury, which could affect fight night performance, the same as allegedly paying potential sparring partners mot to spar, which could affect preparation but not performance on fight night?
I don't see what the big deal is??? If a fighters under Haymon are being asked to help prepare a fighter that's not under him, that's fighting 1 his fighters??? Makes sense to me!!!
PACS stoppin may in 5 or rearrangin ugly boys face for 12. finally signed the death sentence. hope maygays & its crack head cult followers talk **** till fight nite. & this aint 50s 1st time losing $ makin dumb moves & haymon cant save nobody from this as s kikn
If I'm Manny I'm asking myself why isn't my team this clever? Why aren't the people I have around me trying to do their best to make sure Mayweather is at his best? ...
Don't give me that "Manny is above those dirty tactics" draining/fighting guys weight classes below or fighting bigger guys at catch weights while not illegal isn't something to be admired either...
You said it, Manny is not into that crap. All those things that you said about catchweight and everything? Same can be said about Floyd. So I stop there.
Trying to do their best to make sure Mayweather is at his best has nothing to do on what Al Haymon supposed to be doing (blocking Manny's suppose spar mates by offering them more money) this is boxing. If You and other Floyd's groupies think that Floyd is so superior against Manny, why going too far as to block his supposed sparring partners? Mind games? I think not. It's called lack of confidence.

No.
Is it trying to make your opponent less that optimum for your fight? Yes.
Deflating the footballs and spygate would be a better example then. Either way it's cheap tactics that makes him look like a sissy.
