At what point do we stop using the "GGG is being ducked" excuse?

What at 168 should he be reaching for besides Ward, who isn't fighting anyone?
The Dirrell bros, Stieglitz, Abraham, Groves.... those are ALL better for Golovkin himself, then continuing to stay busy against top 25 MW's because he's being ducked.

He should've gone to 168 already. Now Froch, Kessler, Chavez jr., and ward fights are not going to happen. Unless he can get Canelo, his best bet is Lee murks Quillin and then they fight for that belt, but Lee sucks as well.

I think you have a point about changing his style and getting a little gangster.
I agree with the first paragraph- which is why at this point I feel like he's being milked big time. They can make **** happen..... at this point, it feels like they don't want to.

Read what I just wrote to Natas. About the twitter thing. They have NEVER done that. Come on you're talking about companies who pay people $100,000+ a year to sit at a computer and market and promote their fighters....... Shame these fools. Start letting everyone, who doesn't already know, THIS MAN IS BEING DUCKED. If that doesn't work. Move up. Get it over with. No more stay-busy fights. He can "stay busy" at 168, while actually getting credit for beating bigger fighters he shouldn't even be fighting.

Come on, everyone knows its a nightmare to negotiate with Cotto.
The negotiation would be bigger drama show than the fight.

Since when is it wrong for a champion to fight top contenders is your own division? GGG is so active how can anyone complain. He beats them all down too easily? So what?

When Roy Jones Jr was active and champ, he got discredited alot for doing the same, defending his belt.

He seems to be doing what he should. Hopefully Cotto will be forced to either drop the belt of fight GGG.

Kid Chocolate, jesus he isnt worth mentioning. If he was a fighter we would have already seen him vs GGG.

It really isn't GGG's fault, he can't get anyone to fight him and I feel for the guy. I get what you're saying that he should stop waiting and move on, but with who?

        At MW:

Cotto won't fight him - Not happening, ever.
Lee/Quillin - Are currently facing each other, the winner makes sense I doubt the winner would take GGG, ESPECIALLY if it's Quillin.

        At SMW:

        Ward - Ducking GGG hard.
        Froch - Ducking GGG hard.
        Chavez - Ran away like a b*tch.

He has no options at this point until someone mans' up. There are certain guys who should move up instead of b*tching, GGG isn't one of them because even if he would move up to SMW no-one would fight him anyway and they've proven that.

If they're not sending offers..... Then my point stands: Gennady Golovkin is being milked by HBO/his handlers/management team. For what? I haven no idea, it can only be self-greed and personal gain. Otherwise they would use the force of their 1000s of twitter/marketing/promotional operators to start tagging Cotto, Quillin, their fans, their friends, promoters, etc.... and start making stuff happen.

Instead they're just content with fighting top 25 MW's to stay busy

That is being as kind to Golovkin as I feel possible but fair. He is clearly in a tough spot and I think the way his team moved him was in one sense right he is in a solid position but they failed to really get a name in the ring before it became too late (kind of) to really set up him for that next step.

Now they don't want to go back and Golovkin probably doesn't want to see a smaller pay check to do that.

I am also a big believe in the phrase "Money talks, bull**** walks", so if the money is right a lot of things can happen.

Canelo said he isn't moving up to 160, even against Cotto it would be 155. Draining GGG by 5 pounds... I wouldn't make that move if I was GGG, a loss would ruin his career. ESPECIALLY if it was to Canelo, at 160 he'd kill him at 155, GGG would be dead going into the ring.

Does Keith Thurman send offers to Floyd? Cotto would need 10m+. That's an order of magnitude more than GGG can offer.

Send him an offer he can't refuse. Send a picture on Twitter. (with the goods blacked out for legal purposes) Tag him on twitter. Instagram. Facebook. *******. Vine. Tag his promoter. Tag his manager. Tag all his handlers. Tag his girlfriend. Tag his best friend. Tag every and anyone associated with him including the leaders of the Miguel Cotto internet fan club.

Why haven't they done this? Because they're content with him fighting these top contenders you're talking about, who do nothing for him.

He's been fighting the top contenders for 3 years now. There's no one else. He literally cleaned out 160 besides the guys who are ducking him. Instead of him staying busy against guys who do NOTHING for his legacy. His team should have him move up and get him legacy fights.

Golovkin fighting top 25 MW's is cool for us fans and for his handlers.... But it does nothing for his legacy. Absolutely nothing. Not anymore. We all know he's better then them all. Hell we all know he's better then Cotto and just want him to get that belt. Move up, take legacy fights.... they at least owe GGG that for giving them all their ratings and putting money in their pockets.

At the end of the day, it's not Gennady Golovkin who sets his fights up- and its also not only him who benefits once his opponent hits the canvas and the referee stops the fight.

                    I don't think he'd be dead at 155. Hopkins performed at 156, and he's naturally bigger. Wasn't GGG 163/161 a week before Murray/Rubio?

So if HBO doesn't want to cough up that much money..... Stop staying busy against guys who do nothing for him and have him move up to further his legacy?

Is that too much for a guy who basically put the network, his promotional team and handlers on his back for the past 2.5 years? They at least owe him that. Suck it up, take one for the man himself and let the dude solidify his greatness.

Beating Taureano Johnson or Sergio Mora does absolutely nothing for him anymore. We all KNOW he's better then those guys.
