I'm hoping Ward takes the rest of 2015 off. And why shouldn't he? He has a busy HBO commentating gig every other month; when would he train?

So yes his promoter will over pay him and Froch and lose money.
Do you know why they offered Qullin that money? Because I don't think you do. It was their first event as a company, in a borough where Quillin has a following. They also paid a ton of celebrities to attend the fight. It's a standard practice to lose money upon introducing your company via an event that can be chalked up to promotional expenses. It is not a standard practice to pay a fighter upwards of five million to perform for 5,000 people. The quillin bout would've gotten them a premium cable date and airtime and the fee for the fight would've likely more than covered his cost.

That's Ward's way of saying no. Ward likes to bend the rules so he fights close to home. Ward will probably demand an unfair share of the money if Froch agrees to fight him in the USA.I don't think Ward wants to fight Froch. He beat him before but he knows Froch is still a very hard fight.

I'm sure Matchroom would go higher than that.

Looking at the purse split in the other post though, 75%-25% for Regular vs Super champion, we can probably forget about this fight.

As the bigger draw, Froch would want more than 25%, and something tells me Andre would be a difficult man to negotiate with on an issue like that.

Hmmm...if that's the case here, I can see Froch vacating if it goes to purse bids. There's no way he'll fight for 25% nor should he.

This pretty much sums it all up. Ward you are irrelevant in boxing atm moment, Froch is the man and as it stand for you you are more in line of a has been.

But anyways it's not whatever? I mean, if they both want it and they can't argue it will go to a pursue bid and we'll find out where the fight will take place. I think if Hearn would win the bid than Ward would travel.
Damn man! Use your spell check. Or better yet, try hooked on phonics. Reading your struggles Is funny doe! Lmao!
