He has and yet do your research and tell us which guy is richer? I'm not against a fighter fighting at home but when he does complain about money and how he deserves more money but there is no feasible way of paying him that fighting at home perhaps it's time to hit the road. No promoter is going to want to lose money paying ward his asking price to fight in front of less than 10k people.

Good old Ward, a legend in his own mind. He is like the silent version of Khan when it comes to what these dudes think they actually bring to the table. Froch is a diva, Ward is a diva, Cotto is a diva, Floyd is a diva, and Khan is a diva. What's up with these dudes, you would think these guys were movie stars or something.

That's what he thinks too. But HBO already paid Ward 2 million for a handpicked tune-up, only to see him sit on his a$$ for 1.5 years. Their patience may have been worn out.

          Froch

Froch wants a showcase fight in Las Vegas. Ward would be perfect for that.

Honestly its Ward who does not have anything material to dictate with at this point. Sure Froch would probably like to try and avenge his loss but it doesn't seem like its worth it to him now unless he can have the chance on his terms and he has other options.

The thing with Froch is he doesn't care if he's considered not as great as Ward. He's proved a lot over his career, made lots of money & fame, he's already admitted he's not as good as Ward. So it basically comes down to who needs who more. Does Froch need Ward? Nope. He can fight Chavez and retire, happy. Ward on the other hand hasn't fought in ages, doesn't really have a big fan-base and has been begging for rematches from Froch & Kessler, guys he already beat, because they have larger fan bases than he does.

That's why if Ward really wants this fight, he needs to put his ego aside and fight him in the UK where it's way more money anyway. I'm sure they can get 50,000 fans somewhere. Compared to Ward's 6-8 thousand in Cali, at best.

But if Ward doesn't care about the rematch, then he can stick to his guns about fighting in the US or whatever he demands, and move on and fight someone else. It all boils down to what Ward wants here and if he's willing to fight in the UK.
Let's be unbias for a minute, Froch really doesn't have a leg to stand on. If it goes to purse bid Roc Nation will over bid and UK will be out of the question.

ward wouldn't fill any venue in vegas, that was for chavez or bhop

it's gotta be uk (or in ward's imagination, oakland), so i doubt it even happens

Froch has also fought more times away from home than Ward.

He has had 5 world title fights away from home, 4 in the US against US fighters, including Andre Ward.

Ward has never fought in an opponents home country in his whole career.

Isn't Ward with the same promotion company that was going to pay Quillen 1.4million, when they didn't have a dog in the fight?

So yes his promoter will over pay him and Froch and lose money.
