Was there a re hydration clause for this fight?
Watching old 24/7's of both Pacquiao and Mayweather to get hyped for the fight and in the first Pacquiao Hatton episode Roach explains how right before their fight he saw IV marks on Oscar's arm and fresh blood still there and goes on to say that "they rehydrated him after they've weighed him in the dressing room"... sound fishy?
I know "officially" there wasn't a rehydration clause but I wouldn't put it past team Pacquiao to have requested a non disclosure agreement so that Oscar couldn't reveal the clause to preserve the legitimacy of the fight (They have a track record of requesting quite ridiculous things in contracts like Oscar's $3million per pound over 147 and Floyd's $10million penalty)
And the whole theory that "Oscar messed up his weight cutting is quite ridiculous. Oscar hadn't fought at 147 since 2001 every pound shed under 154 would've been torture.
The normal procedure would have been cutting to something like 157lb in training camp, dehydrate to make 147lb at the weigh in, then rehydrate immediately to around the 160lb mark on fight night- instead he was at 145lb at training camp, weighed in at 145 then waited until the next day in the dressing room to rehydrate with an IV drip and came in at 147 lol!
So what do you think?
