Recent thread, Floyd fans were saying that Manny would more than likely win a close fight due to Arum and other reasons...... so come May 2nd, you know what time it is.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the first time we've heard from Roach in a while. He's been MIA.
It sounds like Roach is downplaying Mayweathers abilities saying how now it's an easier fight for Pac, saying Mayweathers legs are shot. Roach better be careful with his gameplan. Last thing he wants is to plant an idea in Pacquiaos mind that Mayweather is done and have Manny come in underprepared and undertrained.

He knew that Manny gets freaked out when his blood gets taken, and feels that it weakens him. This is just harassment and, to me, just signaled that he didn't want the fight." (Arum, December 2009)
"Todd (DuBoef) told me that Pacquiao has difficulty with taking blood and doesn't want to do it so close to the fight," Schaefer said. "He, Pacquiao, would only agree to have blood drawn before the kick-off press conference and after the fight." (Richard Shaefer, 2009)
Schaefer told ESPN.com that the sides had agreed on an unprecedented penalty if either fighter weighed in heavier than the contract limit of 147 pounds.
"We agreed to $10 million per pound, or fraction thereof," Schaefer said. "That's what the Pacquiao side wanted and we said OK to that. (2009)
"Five years ago, maybe Floyd would've beaten Manny...[But] Manny has more heart right now."
(Roach, February 2015)
That's akin to saying Mayweather would school Pacquiao because Marquez KO'ed Pac...linear thinking doesn't necessarily transcend. LOGIC AND RATIONAL just doesn't happen on the ring all the time.
Otherwise encumbent champions would always be champions and would never lose - while challengers and newbies would never be great.
