And if Lemiux is frozen for any period of time that is even worse because he is the one guy people talk a bit about and I think that fight could be more than just another fight for Golovkin.

I know he fell off. I'm just saying it's only fairly recent.

I still stand by that statement because if you take Golovkin out of the mix not a single person I cant think of is excited about any of those names at 160. If Andrade moved up I would be mildly excited for that fight but I think I would be the only one.
Yeah I would disagree. Cotto vs Canelo is a huge fight at 160 (that can still happen this year). Cotto vs anyone at 160 is a big fight. Canelo is going to be a MW soon, same with Andrade (not sure why he didn't fight Korobov, I guess he thought he was going to get that Jay Z money). There are some other up & comers as well, and like I said guys like Quillin and Lemieux will be able to pull in pretty decent ratings against the right guys. I'd love to see Lemieux vs just about anyone at 160, same with Quillin (he deserves the criticism he gets but NSB underrates him way too much as a result, he's a solid fighter with legit power).

Cotto and Canelo is very big, but then Golovkin has to get them in the ring not to mention their wrangling and BS perhaps a rematch clause. Color me skeptical that the winner of that fight is just ok fighting Golovkin off the rip.

Lemiux was the fight I was kind of looking for, so hopefully some wheels can be greased.

The division was pretty much in the same condition when Martinez was around, it is not like he lingered around long while Golovkin rose. Normally a respected guy like Martinez would get another shot but that was yet another bad break for Golovkin.

GGG is the only legit fighter I've seen in the division so far, but even then I don't think he's that good. All this Lemiux talk is a joke, a guy that has already been KTFO by Rubio. You've got JT winning a belt, with Cotto, far past it, holding a title as well.

I see a **** load of average fighters at best, that are contending for belts.

What makes a fighter average in your opinion.

Geale is former unified champion who honestly should have gotten the decision over Barker. Geale has good boxing skills, heart, and toughness.

Murray is also pretty good, tight defense, quick hands, and again a **** load of toughness.

Lemiux lost to Rubio a while back, are fighters not allowed to improve.

And lets not act lie Taylor won that title due to the lack of a good champion, Soliman injured his knee but up to that point was on his way to a decision win.
