If you read between the lines, what GGG's manager is actually saying is "HBO will only pay GGG to fight two or, at most, three more stiffs before they demand a fight with fight Ward."
They offered to meet Froch in the Uk, where hes a legit star, unlike Ward in the Us

Ward first would be to come out of retirement, get his situation sorted, get a tuneup or 2 before a big fight like this so it was out of the question this year in the first place.

Or maybe it's just that Froch has fans.

Carl's last fight was in front of 80,000 people.
Andre's last fight was in front of 4,158 people.

Mentioning Ward's name is what got boxing fans wondering why are you and your fighter are in a division you already cleaned out and not moving up in weight to take that risk and truly challenge yourself.

I find it so disturbing that you can literally predict who will take GGG's side vs who will take Ward's side.

WARD has cleaned division, it is obvious. But I do not expect from him to move UP...., or move from Oakland..... or move his ass out of chair any time soon....

People would kill Ward for taking this fight wouldn't they? But Floyd gets all kind of credit for the Marquez win at the same time... Weird..

You mean Floyd/Marquez is the equivalent of duran/Leonard 1.

Duran went from lightweight too welterweight just like Marquez did. Only difference is duran won and Marquez loss

Froch gotta live with the fact that ward is the only man he never beat.

                      Ward > Froch
