Boxrec has Brandon Rios rated number 11 at welterweight and maidana is something like number 9. Wow!!! Such a huge difference in class your right man I'm sorry! Maidana got his ass kicked all over the ring by Devon Alexander. He was literally shut out, didn't win a single round, and hes so much better than Rios? Tell yourself whatever you have to. Rios lost to pacquiao, and Alvarado who he had beaten and beat again. Maidana has like 5 losses. Put all that crap aside, I bet Rios would beat maidana.

They're computerized rankings so it gives it some hard data to support its rankings, much like the bcs system its not perfect but alot of times its better than a few people sitting around discussing who they think should be 6 or 7. Anyways believe it or not Alvarado was still ranked number 5 by ring magazine at junior welterweight up until Rios knocked him out. Not sure why, but he was ranked higher than broner at the time. And if the fight got made tomorrow, honestly id probably have to give Rios an edge. They are both inside fighters, Rios has some vicious uppercuts and rios is alot longer than maidana and he looks really powerful at welterweight right now unlike before. And it wasn't just because Alvarado was washed up either. You could tell each punch Rios landed was doing alot of damage, disfiguring alvarados face like Manny did to him. Raymundo Beltran told Ellie seckbach about a week ago that Rios would beat Marquez If they fought. He said Rios was one of the toughest fighters hes ever sparred, and hes sparred with everyone including pacquiao. I don't think Rios is a clear favorite by any means, and I wouldn't even put 5 dollars on Rios, but if someone held a gun to my head and told me to choose, id pick Rios based on what I saw in their last fights.

Actually, I do think Pacquiao beat Marquez clearly. If you want to go and scream "robbery" for the 3rd fight, go right on ahead but ONLY if you say the same about Manny for the 1st fight.

Again, yeah, Judah was good enough to win those titles but when it comes to elite fighters, he came up short every time. Those guys didn't. You know that's a different case.

Being an A level fighter and world class is two totally different things.
