Round and round? The only guy Floyd has been ducking for 6 years is Manny pacquiao!!! Its not round and round, Floyd has been consistently ducking top opposition for years. Before Manny it was Paul Williams and cotto. If Floyd legitimately beats pacquiao and not some hometown decision, I doubt any of us pqcquiao fans will have any excuses or complaints about it. The main thing was getting Floyd to agree to fight. I still think Floyd may pull out of the fight with an "injury". But if he does step in that ring and beat Manny which I doubt, I will be the first one to give him all the credit. Who cares if its 6 years too late, they are still top 2 pound for pound and both have declined at about the same rate. That being said, if he does somehow beat Manny I doubt he would risk his 0 loss at that point against khan. He already took the biggest risk he could by fighting pacquiao, at that point his legacy would be u questionable and he could fight cotto and maybe Thurman or brook as his last fight and get to 50-0. I wouldn't blame him for not fighting khan if he fights pacquiao, and I doubt anyone else would either except maybe a couple British fans and Pauli malignaggi. I do think pacquiao would fight khan if he doesn't retire after beating mayweather. That's just how top rank and bob arum are, they throw everyone to the wolves for the sake of making great fights and that's why I tend to support more top rank fighters these days. You never hear about guys like Santa Cruz or quillen or Stevenson at top rank do you? Mannys last few fights was about not facing a WW because he gets knocked out he had to stay winning to get this fight so they picked light punching JWWs , Floyd will stop him and Manny can retire with his cashout .Comment

He had to fight Floyd. Its the only safe fight Floyd had. He beat Broner. That doesnt put him in as a top ten. He lost to the only two top guys he fought. Beating Broner doesnt make him a top guy. Algieri beat Ruslan. JMM should have been a top 10 in YOUR bullshlt sanctioning bodies before he KOd PAC. and was in some.

Why is Maidana ranked? Why and how did Maidana become part of the picture? Did anyone even consider Maidana for a fight with Floyd prior to the Broner fight?
Maidana beat Broner. Broner had several fights at 130 the year before. Currently, Broner is not fighting at 147. That is why the rankings does NOT tell you the total picture. It only lets those causal fans bring up points like you are doing.
